 Five-Star Basketball National Coach

Basketball My Way

Five years ago, I made a decision to devote my passion, my energy, my time and my life to the game of basketball.  I started by coaching with the AZ Gym Rats with the kids from Payne Junior High School in Chandler. The parents of Payne were supported with me coaching their kids.  The kids that I coached were not the super-star club kids.  They took their lumps, sucked it up and almost won the Team University of Arizona Camp in the summer of 2007.

My friend, Coach Dave Williams, gave me the opportunity to coach the 14U Team AZ club in the Main Event in Las Vegas.  The kids played against top national competition and we developed confidence that they could play high school basketball.

From 2007-2008, Coach Rob Flocco with Desert Ridge High School in Mesa gave me the job of Assistant Varsity Coach and the Coach of the Freshmen Team. Our record was 18-2 and the varsity made it to the AIA State quarterfinals.  I also got to help with coaching with 3-G Hoops Club team, won made it to the quarterfinals in the Las Vegas Main Event in the summer of 2008.

In 2008-2009, Coach Brad Pinter of Basha High School gave me an opportunity to become his Varsity Assistant Coach with his 5A 1 team.  In addition, I received an opportunity to coach the Arizona Stars 16U Club Team to develop players fro their Varsity basketball teams.  I am also a national coach with Five-Star Basketball Camp in New York City.

Here is my point: with vision of God`s presence, I` ve been able to receive the opportunities to fulfill my dreams of becoming a high school coach in God` s time.

This year, Basha High School is currently 15-1 and will possibly compete for the 5A AIA State Basketball Championship. Thanks to the various people that God has placed in my life, I` ve watched the best high school ball players in the Valley succeed and prepare for college basketball. A special thanks to Coach Pinter, Anthony Ray, Dave Williams, Joe Ward, Willie Young, Coach Jack Dreams, Coach Brian Hopkins, Dean Welfringer ( and his wife), Basha Principal Mr. James and Athletic Director Brent Rincon for their on going support.
